We live in a world that the majority believed in materialism, the material creates and determines consciousness. People are accustomed to the surrounding environment and all kinds of materials. More and more modern people gradually lose their curiosity to their surroundings and become insensible to ordinary life.

My work focuses on the origin of materials, usually the most common materials we used in our everyday life. By exploring the unusual forms and other possibilities within the materials, I aim to subvert and redefine the set perception in modern people’s mind about what is “ordinary”.

I believe that all materials have the same value, and people should be curious and respectful to all the details of life. In the past three years, my concept has been reflected in product design, sculptures, performances and installations.
